Project-based teams

When a project starts, a team is assembled for what that project needs, for example 2 Scripters, 2 Builders, 1 Modeler, 1 UI Designer and 1 Game Designer. Only people who work on a project are on its team. You are asked if you want in. You are never forced onto every project.

How a project gets made

1

Idea

A concept from leadership or the team, checked for originality, feasibility and player appeal.
2

Planning

Gameplay, scope and roles defined, often in a Game Design Document (GDD).
3

Team selection

The right mix of roles is assembled and asked to join.

Revenue

Only people who worked on a project share its revenue. It is not equal by default: contribution (amount of work, complexity, impact) decides, tracked by project supervisors or leadership. If you leave a project or the studio, you stop receiving revenue from it going forward.
FILL IN: Decide whether exact percentages stay private (recommended) and how payouts are made.
