# Departments and roles

> Every department and what each role does.

The studio hierarchy from highest authority to operational teams. This shows authority, not impact on the studio.

**Executive Directors** → **Executive Council** → **Studio Leadership** → **Legal and Compliance** → **Moderate and Support** → **Development** → **Marketing**

    Sets long-term vision, approves major projects, appoints leadership. Order: CEO, Novam Studio's Director, Founder, Co-Founder. This reflects current operational power, not founding history.

    Advises the Executive Directors and bridges top leadership and daily operations. All five seats carry equal authority.

    **Head Administrator**: oversees internal organization systems. **Administrator**: staff coordination and daily management. **Event Manager**: plans community and promotional events. **Manager**: coordinates teams and keeps projects moving. **Community Manager**: bridge between Novam and players.

    **Human Resources Officer**: reviews staff conduct reports, oversight only. **Legal and Compliance Officer**: leads the team, final say on legal matters. **Legal Advisor**: contracts, ToS, privacy and IP. **Compliance Reviewer**: keeps games compliant with Roblox policies and revenue-split documentation accurate.

    From most to least senior: Head Moderator, Senior Moderator, Global Moderator, Moderator, Trial Moderator, Helper/Support (answers tickets and helps players).

    **Lead Developer**: technical architecture and code review. **Game Designer**: mechanics, progression, GDDs. **Scripter**: gameplay code. **Builder**: maps and environments. **Modeler**: 3D assets. **UI/UX Designer**: menus and HUD. **Animator**: movement. **VFX Designer**: effects. **Sound Designer**: audio and music. **Voice Actor**: voices for story-driven projects.
